    Hi Forum,

    I am totally confused…

When I look up for Swiss Travel Pass, it also shows that if I purchase the passes for Mt. Titlis & Jungfrau (along with the Swiss Travel Pass), I get 20 CHF off.

On the other hand I also read that, if I purchase the Swiss Travel Pass, I get 50% off on the cable car from Engelberg to Mt. Titlis.

Could you please guide me as to which of the above is true?

We plan to go sometime during July, which is summer time there.

    Thanks in Advance.

Hi Meharaval, and welcome to MySwissAlps,

With the Swiss Travel Pass you get 25% discount on Jungfraujoch and 50% on Mt. Titlis. Read more about the validity of the pass here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity.

Jungfraujoch pricelist is here. With Swiss Travel Pass free to Wengen or Grindelwald and 25% off from either of those to the top.

    Titlis (from Engelberg) here.

    Thank you so much @Chantal & @rockoyster..

Also wanted to know if, on Mt. Titlis, Jungfrau & Schilthorn, the air is too thin & makes it difficult to breathe.. My sister & I are accompanied by mother who is 50+.. Would it be difficult for her?

Do the differences in the temperatures have an impact on our bodies? We will be going to:

    1. Zurich

    2. Lucerne to Mt. Titlis

    3. Bern

    4. Interlaken / Grindelwald / Wengen / Gimmelwald to Jungfrau & Schilthorn

    5. Monreux (May be)

    6. Zermatt (May do the Glacier Express as well)

    Thanks in Advance

Does your mother have health issues? If not, I don’t see a problem.

It will be colder at Mt. Titlis and in Zermatt when you go to Gornergrat, but just make sure you are wearing layers.

You don’t need a jacket also in Mt Titlis. Such a wonderful place.

If you get good weather on Mt. Titlis this is true. There are definitely days you need a jacket though! 🙂
