Raileurope.com and raileurope.ca offer a $50 discount on the Eurail Select Pass. If you plan to travel by train in Switzerland and surrounding countries, this pass is worth your consideration.

This is how to get the discount:

  • To have your pass delivered to Canada, please order from this page of raileurope.ca.
  • To have your pass delivered to the United States, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guam, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Saba, Saint Eustatius, Saint Lucia, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands or the Virgin Islands, please order from this page of raileurope.com.
  • Add the desired pass to your shopping cart.
  • When asked for a coupon code, enter NIFTYFIFTY there.
  • The discount is available until December 31 2012, and there's a maximum of 600 customers.
  • You may apply one coupon code per booking.
  • Update November 3, 2012: You can now get an <strong>additional 20% discount</strong> if you're traveling between November 2012 and March 2013.
  • After your purchase, you need to start traveling with the pass ("activate it") within 6 months.
