Hi!
we are staying in laurerbrunnen in the first week of august, and I was looking at the panoramic trains but couldn’t quite figure out wether it is possible to do a full day trave and finish at the same station again (I think Interlaken is closest than?)
is it possible to do a day trip in a panoramic train and finish at the same station again since we are not travelling through by train and have the car in Lauterbrunnen?

It’s certainly possible to do (parts of) panoramic train routes within one day from Lauterbrunnen/Interlaken. Some suggestions:
- Travel to Montreux by GoldenPass and travel back via Bern and Thun: https://www.myswissalps.com/goldenpass
- Travel to Lucerne by GoldenPass and travel back via Bern and Thun: https://www.myswissalps.com/goldenpass
- Make a day trip to Zermatt and back with the RegioExpress Lötschberger: https://www.myswissalps.com/lotschberger
- You can even do part of the Glacier Express route as explained under “Don’t have time to do the full route?” at https://www.myswissalps.com/glacierexpress.
