Hi Lucas
Do you know if this new funicular is wheelchair friendly, as my wife uses a wheelchair and can only stand for a short period, and can only walk a few steps.
I have looked at the web site and it does say it is barrier free, however a report from someone that has used the system would be much more beneficial.
We hope to visit there in May 2020.

Yes, as I recall there were no barriers that would prevent your wife from getting on with her wheelchair.

Hi Lucas
Thanks for the information, sorry the reply is a bit late, not been on internet for a while.
Looking forward to our holiday for two weeks next year in Switzerland.
This will be one place we will want to visit and try the new funicular to the top. We will also be on the Bernina Express (which we did in 2016 when we visited Switzerland before) as well as the Glacier express, as this is the easiest way to transfer between Davos to Spiez via Brig.
As we will be staying in both Davos and Spiez, I have used the SBB railways timetable and to visit Stoos it would be best from Spiez, at least that appears to me to be the best way.
