Direct Trains from Zurich Airport to Lucerne

    Hello friends – I would like to know if there are direct trains from Zurich Airport to Lucerne, their frequency etc. I will be arriving Zurich airport at 2.10 pm (landing time). Also, I would like to know how convenient it is to carry luggage on the train….can we carry it with us or is there a separate luggage compartment…..any restrictions on size etc.? Thank you in anticipation.

    Hi Sats,

    There are direct trains every hour or so. Details are in the timetable. You can store luggage under or behind, and above the seats, but it depends on the size of your luggage whether that’s sufficient. Larger items can usually be stored in the designated areas elsewhere in the carriage (mostly near the doors). It’s a bit different per train type.
