My husband and I are purchasing the Swiss travel passes for our upcoming trip. I see that having the passes allows us to get discounts on many supplemental excursions such as the Mt. Titlis gondola ride. I would like to go ahead purchase tickets for the gondola ride ahead of time but how do I get my discount. Do the Swiss passes come with a promotional code that I can use on the other ticket websites? Or do I have to wait to buy the tickets in person to get the discount? I would really like to purchase the more popular route tickets ahead of time. Thanks!

Some but not all mountain tickets can be bought online with the Swiss Travel Pass discount but either way buying a ticket does not guarantee you a specific departure time for most mountains.

Some exceptions are Jungfraujoch where you can buy tickets online with the Swiss Travel Pass discount and also make a reservation for a set time (at an extra cost) or Schilthorn where you can book a set time in advance as well. Do note that it isn’t always best to book times – if the weather is bad you may be disappointed to make the trip.
