Zurich to Innsbruck – seat reservation needed?

    We’ll be travelling from Zurich to Innsbruck on a Rail jet on September 28. When I get the option of reserving seats for an extra 3 euro each, is it wise to buy them or unnecessary?

    Hi Judy,

    Often it is mandatory but when it isn’t I decide based on length of trip – more than 2-3 hours anywhere on an international train and I reserve seats. I don’t want to take the chance.
