Hi, I’m going to visit the Hallwyl Schloss. I am traveling to Lenzburg by train but then I have to change to a bus (line B385) operated by Regionalbus Lenzburg. Is this comapny included in STP?

You can travel free with STP on every single train, bus, tram and boat etc which is part of the national core Swiss transport system of day-to-day services.

Some background to the Schloss and the area:

Schloss Hallwyl uses the archaic y instead of the modern i in its name. So don’t be confused when looking at maps etc. The nearby lake (Hallwilersee) and the town of Hallwil, use the modern i

However, the nearest towns to the Schloss are Boniswil and Seengen, not Hallwil, and the nearest railway station is Boniswil.

As Boniswil station is only 1500 m from the castle, you may find it pleasant to walk rather than use the bus. It is a pleasant area of nice villages and farmland. There is a level foot path alongside the road, or there is also a walking route round through the fields at the north end of the lake:

The railway from Lenzburg is unusual as it is really a roadside tramway. You will find the train running right alongside road traffic at various points. It can be fun or disorientating depending on your point of view!
