Domodossola to Chamonix with Swiss Travel Pass

    Will Swiss travel pass cover this? Will it cover Chamonix to Geneva?

    Swiss Travel pass covers Domodossola – Brig as it is a Swiss owned section of railway.

    Brig – Martigny is SBB and all in Switzerland

    Martigny – Chamonix is a Swiss railway as far as Vallorcine, but you need a separate ticket for the rest of the journey (Vallorcine – Chamonix – Geneve) because that is all inside France.

    Hi Lmyuen88,

    The Swiss Travel Pass is valid everywhere in Switzerland: https://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity. It will you get as far as the border (for instance Vallorcine, as pointed out by 1960man). From the border to Chamonix you need to arrange for additional ticket. You can find information about tickets to France here: http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/france
