hello,

  1. can you please kindly clarify me the difference between a double room and a twin room?
  2. we are a couple with a 3 yr old child- which type of room should we search for?
  3. what is the usual breakfast time in most of the hotels?
  4. will the hotels allow to keep the luggage in their cloak room for 2 to 3 hours after check out time?

thank you

Hey Arijit

1. Double room has a double bed while a twin room has two single beds.

2. You should opt for a double room with extra bed. You can mention that separately. Generally hotels provide crib but it's I guess for children upto 2 years.

3. Generally, 7am till 10 am

4. Yes, most hotels allow.

hope this is helpful.

Hi Arijit-

Many Swiss hotels make a double bed by sliding two single "twin" beds next to each other and adjusting the sheet/ blanket/ duvet sizes.
