    Hi Nsrvaid,

I haven’t driven much around Switzerland – the views are always nicer from the train because you don’t need to focus on drving. 🙂 Or take a boat cruise if you have a chance. https://www.myswissalp s.com/boatlakethun

That being said, the drive on the north side of Lake Thun is quite spectacular – though I don’t know where the view point pull outs are.

    Hi Nsrvaid, welcome to MySwissAlps!

The boat trip that Lucas mentioned is a good idea for the best views. If you drive, then the north sides of both Lake Thun and Lake Brienz are best. There are some places to pull over here and there, e.g. at Beatenbucht, were the funicular up to Beatenberg departs (that might be a nice side trip, or even all the way up to the Niederhorn by cable car). Another option is to take the road from Interlaken towards Beatenberg. You’ll see restaurant Luegibrüggli after a few kilometers on the left (http://www.luegibrueggli.ch). Go sit on their terrace for a good view of Lake Thun and the mountains.

You won’t see the lakes in Interlaken itself, but you can start boat trips from there.
