I purchased a pass for my granddaughter to use for travel in France and Switzerland. Since the purchase our itinerary has changed and it would be more beneficial to use either the STP or half fare card.

I am not certain if I can get a refund on the eurail pass. If it was promotional, shouldn’t it state that on my invoice. I am traveling and the pass is at home and I need to be making reservations. The price I paid in March was about $50 less than the current price for a 6 day pass. Not sure if that is an indication of a promotional.

I have tried contacting eurail and have received no response.

    Hi Jlynncoop,

Typically rail passes aren’t able to be cancelled and refunded without a cancelation fee – often 15%. How long has it been since you contacted Eurail? I wouldn’t be too surprised if they took 24-48 hours to reply but they should reply.

Either way you can make reservations without your rail pass in front of you. If it asks if you have a rail pass you should be able to select the right one. I’m guessing are you trying to reserve through the Eurail website?

Just to be sure – if you purchased from the Eurail.com website, then you need the below page to get in touch with them:
