Hi, great effort by team of !

My question is I will be travelling from Italy into Switzerland and further going to Austria. So IAM looking at the Eurail global pass for 15 days continuous. Eurail website says children travel free ( I have a 3 year old one )

Just wanted to check if my child would travel free in trains and discounted mountain railways of Jungraujoch

also do we require to purache his ticket for mount pilatus and mount titlissincee we will be eligible for discount tickets on Eurailpass)But what about my child there?

Hi Pritishpanke,

Children aged 0-5 travel free throughout Switzerland, regardless of what sort of ticket or pass their parents have. This includes mountain transport that is only discounted for their parents.

However, if you travel on any of the trains on which a reservation is compulsory (Glacier Express, Bernina Express or Gotthard Panorama Express) you do need to pay for a seat reservation for your child unless you are happy for them to sit on your knee for the whole trip.
