    Hi,

I am planning to visit Switzerland with my grandson who will turn 13 at the time. I will get the Swiss travel pass and I wonder if my grandson could travel free with the Family Travel Card? Thank you.

Hi H4rl3k and welcome to MySwissAlps!

The Swiss Family Card only works for children or step children. As grandchildren you will need to buy the Children’s Co- TravelCard (30chf for a year).

You’ll need to go into a rail office of SBB to buy one. For better or worse Switzerland has a product for virtually everything!
