Alpenrose has left the forums. It’s a great shame.

Certainly one of the finest contributers ever.

At least all her posts are still around but we will no longer get to enjoy her wonderfully composed, detailed and experience-base responses to queries.

She will be greatly missed. 😢

Hello for last time, Alpenrose

I will greatly miss your contributions – I even have some of your trip reports copied and pasted onto the memory stick I travel with to Switzerland! I have followed many of your suggestions, especially for the Engadine, with great enjoyment.

I have thought of you not just as a contributor but a friend (sort of penpal) during our exchanges on here.
