    Hello,

I will be traveling from Costa Rica to Egypt and will have a long transit time in Geneva.

For the inbound trip, I reserved an hotel and decided to spend the day in Geneva but for the the outbound trip I will reach Geneva at 10:30pm and my next flight will be at 7:00am next day.

I was planing to spend those hours in the airport but I was surprised to know that it is not allowed as the airport closes its doors from 12:00-4:00 am.

I wonder if there is a nightclub where I can spend those few hours cause reserving a room in an hotel or hostel won’t work for those few hours and it will be kind of anybody to tell me about a place that will be so close to a train, tram or bus stop as I don’t know if it will be safe to walk for a long distance at this hour or not.

    Thank you

I don’t know of anything that is open all night in Geneva or Switzerland in general. But I am not a Geneva expert. If it were me I’d book a hotel or or hostel at least:

    Thanks for your reply Lucas.

If I want to go to an hotel and go back to the airport around 4:30 am, will it be safe to walk from the bus or train station to the hotel or I should go in a taxi.

PS: going to deposit my bags in the train station

The earliest you can get to Geneva Airport is 04:51. If you need to be there earlier you’ll need to take a taxi anyway.

I feel it would be fine walking from the train station to you hotel late at nice yes. In general, Switzerland is an extremely safe country. If you are going to walk downtown late at night anywhere – do it in Switzerland. 🙂

But you may want a taxi to be safe or if it is a long walk.
