How to reach the First Cliff walk?

    I have just learned of the cliff walk , never having seen it mentioned before . We will be in Grindelwald for 5 nights, and would like to experience this . Is it a train trip to get there and if so are there discounts with the Swiss travel pass ? Can this be completed within a half day ? Thanks

    Hi Pomkitanner,

    It’s a cable car to First from Grindelwald. It’s 50% discounted with your Swiss Travel Pass. Yes, half a day is plenty of time. It’s a very short walk. More an attraction than a walk/hike actually. You may want to combine this with a walk to the Bachsee: http://www.myswissalps.com/hi king/bachsee.
