First week in May, cog railways Rigi and Pilatus

    Will the cog railways to Mt. Rigi and Mt. Pilatus be open the first week of May?

    Hi jm5245,

    Rigi is operating. The cableway Kriens-Pilatus Kulm is operating. The cogwheel train Alpnachstad-Pilatus Kulm is closed for winter, and will reopen some time in the first half of May, depending on weather conditions. At the beginning of May, you can start checking whether or not it has reopened: http://www.pilatus.ch/en/nc/l ive/.
