Hi, I am travelling to france (5 nights) and switzerland (5 nights) in the month of June. My accoodation and air tickets are done. i am having trouble in finding the best mode of transport within the city. I need a pass so that i can roam around in France, visit nice, monace, antibe, paris, cannes and for switzerland also. My question is, is there a two country pass like the swiss pass by which i can use any mode of transport for free or do i have to take separate passes like swiss pass for switzrlnd and french pass for france. ?

Hello Nikhil3984 and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

Have a look at the Eurail Select Pass.

That might suit you. Be sure to check the “Where it’s valid” tab to make sure it covers where you want to go in Switzerland.

    Hi Nikhil3984,

The Eurail Select Pass could work well for you but it doesn’t cover local city travel in either country; but between many towns it works well. Rockoyster’s link explains it in detail.
