    Hi, how do you do?

We are having10-day family trip to Switzerland in June 2019. Our flight arrives at Frankfurt Airport, Germany.

We are planning to stay at Frankfurt Airport hotel for a night before traveling to Switzerland.

Is there an ICE train service from Frankfurt (M) Flughafen Fernbf train (ie at Frankfurt Airport) to Interlaken ? If yes, where can we book the train tickets online? May I right to say that Swiss pass is not applicable for the train tickets?

    Thanks. 🙂

    Yong

Hello Yong and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

To find out about detailed train connections for your travelling date use our advanced timetable in this link. Make sure you read how it works, it’s an invaluable tool for planning.

You will have to change trains in Basel and/or Mannheim.

Regarding your question about the ticket, the Swiss Travel Pass, which is the one I assume you mean, will cover your journey from the Swiss border onwards, so from Basel onwards. See the “validity” section of this link for details (incl.map):

If you get a Swiss Travel Pass you can check where to buy the tickets from Frankfurt to Basel in this link:

I hope this answers your questions. Get back to us anytime for further input.

    Best,
    Steph
