Hey. Sorry for posting again so soon. I have 5 days in Grindlewald. would it be worth fitting this trip in. Is it far from Grindlewald to the Gelmer funiclar. It looks amazing to do.Thanks.

You need to take a train from Grindelwald to Meiringen, Postbus to Handegg.

Use the SBB timetable to figure out if you are up for the trip from Grindelwald. It’s about 2 hours each way I’m guessing (depending on connections). When are you visiting? I don’t think the bus runs until around end of first week in June.

Unfortunately, I’ve never done the ride before, although it has been on my list for a while!
