Hello, on the Swiss rail system if I purchase a ticket from Zurich to Interlaken am I able to get off the train at Lucerne to explore and then catch a later train to Interlaken? I also want to do the same on other destinations.

If you know, would Dbhn or OBB do the same.

It depends on the type of SBB ticket you have. A regular ticket is good for a whole day for a given route. So you can break the journey wherever you like and resume later.

A Supersaver fare is tied to specific connections end to end.

Not sure about DB and OBB
