We will be spending 4 days in Lausanne at the end of July. We are 4 adults and 2 children aged 10.

We intend to buy Lake Geneva Regional Passes for the adults (5 day). Is a Swiss Family Card valid for the children or must we buy passes for them too?

We look forward to hearing advice on this matter.

    Hello Lindy, welcome to MySwissAlps!

The Regional Pass Lake Geneva-Alps doesn’t allow children to travel along with a Swiss Family Card. The Swiss Family Card is only valid in conjunction with one of the Swiss Travel System passes, such as the Swiss Travel Pass or the Swiss Half Fare Card. Please see myswissalps.com/swissf amilycard for details.

You can best buy your children Junior travelcards: myswissalps.com/junior travelcard. Prices and children’s options for the Regional Pass are explained at https://www.myswissalp s.com/regionalpasslake geneva/price.
