Looking to go from Geneva to Annecy on Friday August 9th. Looks like public transport takes nearly 2 hours one way. There are tours for about 60 CHF per person which is great as only a 45 minute ride this way one way, but once I get there, am I obligated to stay with the tour group or can I just venture off and return when it is time for the bus to leave without seeming rude? Would appreciate some thoughts and feedback
