Hello...Our family of 3 has a Eurail Select Pass for our Germany, Switzerland, Austria trip in June. What is the best/most scenic route between Geneva, Interlaken and Zurich? We are planning 2 day stays in each location. Thank you so much for any assistance!

Hi karizzel,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! The Golden Pass line would indeed be the most obvious option. If you want to stay in 3 towns I'd recommend Montreux, a village near Interlaken instead of Interlaken itself (e.g. Wilderswil, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald) and Lucerne. Your pass covers all the trains. Please see the links for further details, and let us know if any questions remain.

I'm glad to hear we can do that. We already have our accommodations arranged in Geneva, Interlaken and Zurich. Can we catch the Golden line at the main train station in Geneva and are reservations needed? Thank you Arno!

Hi karizzel,

The Golden Pass line starts in Montreux and does not require reservations (except for large groups in some cases). You'll find all details here: myswissalps.com/ goldenpass.
