    Hi,

I’m traveling through Austria from Innsbruck in hopes of picking up the Glacier Express in Chur. I was wanting to take the Glacier Express to Zermatt. Which doesn’t seem to be a problem, but how do I get from Zermatt to Yvorne?

Also I was looking at the train schedule and couldn’t find where it listed the times it left Chur. I’m guessing its early in the morning, if so should I plan on getting a hotel room the night before?

    Thanks for your help.

    Mark

Hi Mark, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Yvorne is a small village near Aigle. I haven’t heard of it before to be honest. You don’t mean Yvoire in France by any chance? You can fill out the bus stop name “Yvorne, anc. poste” as your destination in the timetable to get all travel details.

If you want to reach Yvorne the same day you’d best get off the Glacier Express in Brig. But spending a night in Zermatt, or more if possible, would be very nice.
