Hi all, we are a family of 13 adult (6 in age group of 55-60 rest all young) and 2 children and planning to visit switzerland in june 2017. I m preparing a detailed itinery for the same. With stay at interlaken on all days. In this post i want your suggestions for planning my itinery for visiting glacier 3000. We will start early from interlaken and train till gastad and takr a bus to reach glacier 3000. i wanted to know if we can go to gruyers (cheese and chocolate factory) after glacier 3000 and then go back to interlaken? Is it practical to do both on the same day? Or can u suggest something else along with glacier 3000.

    Hi Dharmesh5,

The quickest connection is about 2.5 hours between the Glacier 3000 and Gruyeres (via Gstaad and Montbovon) to visit the cheese and chocolate factories. So it is doable depending on how much travel you want to do and how long you want to spend at each place.

You can search for all train schedules on our Swiss timetable page here to make your own schedule.

In the end it’s up to you how much traveling you would like to do in one day.

    Regards,
    Lucas
