What are the differences between 1st and 2nd class on the Glacier Express regarding seat configuration and comfort, views, and lunch options and quality?

Hi Ladera,

Differences of 1st and 2nd classes for most trains are noted here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/train/practical/ 2nd1stclass

It is similar for the Glacier Express. Fewer seats and people = so a bit more spacious and quiet. I found the lunch to be quite good. I believe it is the same food in both classes, but you can have the food sent to your seat/table in 1st class.
