Lucerne is not an ideal base for the Glacier Express so you will be in for a long day if you are returning to Lucerne. Or are you staying in Brig? Have you considered continuing to Zermatt?
Luggage will not be a problem. There are no overhead racks in the Glacier Express but room under seats.
Golden Pass Line is a different experience but whether it is worth doing both is up to you. It would help if we knew what your overall itinarary looked like.

Thanks for your reply.
We are landing Zurich on April 4th late night. So we are staying that night in Zurich.
Day 1: planning to go to mt. titlis ,lion monument and glacier garden. Night stay at Lucerne.
Day 2: depends on the weather
option 1-glacier express ( chur to brig ) and then to Interlaken hotel.
option -2 Mt Rigi by boat trip and travelling to Interlaken. Evening Interlaken city walk.
Night stay at Interlaken.
Day 3: jungfraujoch and Tissot first cliff walk. Night stay at Interlaken.
Day 4: option 1 – starting by 9am from interlaken to montreux in goldenpass train and then to Geneva (City tour). 9 pm Geneva to Venice Flight.
option 2 – morning mt. Schilthorn, Afternoon to Geneva by regular train. If time permits Geneva city tour and night Venice Flight.
note: couldn’ t decide about day 2 and 4. Need help regarding this.
thanks

Hi Eshwar,
On Day 2 if the weather is good do Mt. Rigi and then maybe visit Thun before getting to Interlaken.
Day 4: This is a choice between a panoramic train or a mountain visit. It depends on how much you enjoyed Titlis I think. If that was sufficient for you take the Golden Pass – but if you want another mountain experience and the weather is good go for Schilthorn.

Thanks, that’s much clearer.
Luzern to Interlaken via the Glacier Express is an 8 hour trip versus under 2 hours via the Golden Pass route. On the GEX you will see a fair bit of snow but no glaciers. The best part is between Chur and Andermatt – over the Oberalp Pass. From there to Brig is not the most thrilling but if you are intent on riding the GEX why not think about substituting Zermatt for Interlaken altogether?
When in Interlaken you should have a plan B in case bad weather rules out the rather expensive Jungfraujoch trip.
From Lauterbrunnen a very nice circuit to do is to Grütschalp (cable car), Mürren (cogwheel train), Gimmelwald (cable car), Stechelberg (cable car), Lauterbrunnen (bus). From Mürren you can easily visit Schiltorn and Birg Thrill Walk which are free with Swiss Travel Pass.

Thank you lucas and rockoyester.
I have few more doubts.
In jungfraujoch, do they operate cog wheel train when the weather is cloudy?
If yes. Is it worth going up on cloudy day?
Thank you
Eshwar

The train will run whatever the weather.
Moving clouds are ok for a visit but dense clouds with rain or snow not so much.
Check the weather and ask locals when you are there.
