Golden Pass line

Hi Arno,

On SBB site, it indicates leg from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost is "express" with a Panorama coach sign. I wonder if it is so called Golden Pass line. It also indicates a "R" meaning reservation possible. Does it mean I don't have to reserve the seats. Is my understand correct?

All direct trains from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost go via the Golden Pass line. You do not need reservations. Just a ticket or a rail pass is enough.
