    Hi,

I am planning to travel from Lucerne to interlaken ost through the GoldenPass line using the Swiss travel pass.

1.Can I make reservation for this stretch alone? Since the construction work is done only past interlaken.

Is this 100%covered under swiss travel pass. Because http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass/tickets This link says “Train from Montreux to Lucerne: free”. Whereas I take the opposite direction.

Where exactly do I need to make the golden pass line reservation.

How frequent is this golden pass line? Where will I find the timetable?

The Luzern – Interlaken Express is really just a regular train on that leg of the Golden Pass Line. It runs hourly in both directions. You can find it using the Swiss Train Timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) to plan your travel. If you haven’t used it before it will pay to read the instructions at this page before delving into the timetable. Include via Meiringen in your search. It is 100% covered by the Swiss Travel Pass irrespective of which direction you are travelling.

You probably don’t need reservations but if it will make you feel happier you can make them at http://www.mob.ch/en/reservat ion-procedure or goo.gl/vfV4wK

Thanks rock oyster. I have trouble booking the golden pass line using Swiss travel pass. The procedure clearly says to choose the discount for each passenger but when I tried booking it, I don’t see any option of choosing discounts. I tried the website from both mobile and laptop. Once I choose the seats, the page just goes to the payment page. How do I make reservations without paying as I already have a Swiss travel pass?

You still need to pay for seat reservations. They are additional to the ticket price which is covered by the STP.
