    Hi,

I am planning to on board Golden pass train from Montreux train no 2130 at 15:44 PM. It reaches to Zweisimmen at 17:33 PM via Gstaad.

Q1: Is it worthy to avail Golden pass train at afternoon, in terms of watching scenic beauty?

Q2: Can I get down at Gstaad, instead of Zweisimmen? Does Golden pass train stops at Gstaad?

It would be very helpful, thanks in advance.

    Hi Soumya,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps!

    1. Anytime of the day, any season presents a good opportunity to enjoy the scenic view as long as the weather cooperates 🙂 In Winter, it would be best to take an earlier train to maximise daylight sightseeing time.

    2. As long as you have a valid ticket on the Golden Pass, you are allowed to hop-on-hop-off as you wish. There are 3 sections to the Golden Pass Line. The Golden Pass route is explained in detail in the link below.

    Hope this helps.

    Anna

You mean you’re getting on the train “today”? Sunday?
