Hi Grace,
What day? The Golden Pass route (Lucerne – Interlaken – Zweisimmen – Montreux) is completed on several trains. The only panoramic train is on the last section between Zweisimmen and Montreux. Those trains certainly leave later in the day. Panoramic trains are labled MOB Belle Epoque or Panoramic on the timetable from SBB (click on the train departure you want to see more details). Both trains offer large panoramic windows. The Belle Epoque is the heritage style, then other is more modern.
Check the timetable and route details below:
Hi Luke
I see! Thank you so much for your help, much appreciated.
With Kind regards
Correct.
15.06 is the latest time you can leave Luzern to travel on the whole of the ‘modern day’ GoldenPass route, but Luzern – Interlaken is not the ‘true’ Golden Pass, which was historically just the Zweisimmen – Montreux line, the MOB (Montreux Oberland Bernois) Railway.
You can leave Luzern later and travel just the original Spiez – Zweisimmen – Montreux Golden Pass by travelling via Bern on main line trains.
