We are travelling from lucerne to interlaken in may this year we so plan to buy a swiss rail pass,Few questions:

a)can we travel golden pass from Lucerne to Interlaken with our luggage

B)is a sear reservation important

C)is this train functional on weekdays also? How about the timings.

Yes, there is room for your luggage on the train.

B)is a sear reservation important

Seat reservations are not compulsory, and generally not needed either. I think you will be fine without a reservation for this trip in May.

C)is this train functional on weekdays also? How about the timings.

Yes, it runs daily at regular intervals. You can find a suitable service by using the SBB (Swiss Railways) timetable. In the timetable, it is described as the "Luzern-Interlaken Express", but is still part of the Golden Pass route.

Hi Hiloni,

For further details on the Golden Pass click here. Note it is a train route with connections not a specific train. You can do this route with regional 'commuter' trains or on a panoramic train.
On the schedule it is listed as 'MOB panoramic' or 'MOB Belle Epoque'. The "Luzern-Interlaken Express" is also panoramic.

Here is a link for buying the Swiss Travel Pass - there are several options to choose from and you can also have it emailed to you to be printed at home for convenience.
