Is the Happy Rail website the only and/or best option for seat reservations for this scenic train?

Also, how far in advance can I make a reservation for this particular scenic train.

I will be traveling by Swiss Pass

    Hi RussellZone,

The tickets/passes and reservations are the same regardless of where you buy. Happyrail is an easy to navigate site and they’ll send them quickly via e-mail. SBB sells reservations too as they operate the train, also via e-mail I believe; there’s a link on http://www.myswissalps.com/go tthardpanoramaexpress under “More on other websites”. Booking 3 months in advance should be possible.

I assume you’ll have a Swiss Travel Pass. SwissPass is something else, and for Swiss residents only.

    Enjoy the ride!

    Thanks Arno

But does Happy Rail allow you to pick an exact seat like the official website do?

    Hi RussellZone,

As far as I know, it’s not possible to pick a seat with Happyrail.

It is not possible to pick the exact seat on any site for the GPEX.
