Does the Gotthard Panorama Express run on Mondays?

    Not clear if this train never runs on Mondays. Would it be running on 02.07? Traveling from Luzern to Liugano. If the Gotthard Express does not run on July 2nd we would appreciate your thoughts on best alternatives. We would like to take the boat to Fluelen.

    It does not run on a Monday including Monday 2 July.

    From Flüelen you can take a regular train to Lugano. Just make sure you go via Göschenen otherwise yo will spend 57Km underground in the Gotthard Base Tunnel with very limited scenery.
