Hello Soulea and Welcome to MySwissAlps,
1. Yes. The boat leg of the GPE (https://www.myswissalp s.com/gotthardpanorama express) is just a regular steamer. You need a reservation for the train leg only. With a normal ticket Flüelen to Luzern you can break the trip at Vitznau and resume later. No problem.
2. You can’t book any of them if by book you mean reserve seats. You can buy tickets though from SBB or if you have a Swiss Travel Pass it will all be covered by that. The cable car from Rigi Kaltbad takes you to Weggis (not Vitznau) where you can catch a boat on to Luzern. https://www.myswissalp s.com/rigi

Thank you Rokoyster. I will remember to look for boat from Weggis to Luzern!
I went on SBB and tried Fleuelen to Vitznau route with different date (since my trip is too far ahead).
There is no option with STP at discount cards – I see half fare travel card only. How can I buy tickets with my STP information on SBB?
Rockoyster, I have read your own Switzerland trip posts sometime ago and I didn’t save those links at that time.
I remember they were detailed and informative. Would you post those links again?

With STP no ticket required for boat. Thinks about a Class upgrade to enjoy the trip from top deck.

Hi Soulea,
As Rockoyster mentioned you don’t need tickets for the boat ride if you have a Swiss Travel Pass. Please refer to https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ validity and https://www.myswissalp s.com/boatlakelucerne/ tickets. As for your question about tickets bought through the SBB website: the Swiss Travel Pass indeed isn’t listed as discount option there. The SBB website is primarily geared towards Swiss residents, whereas the Swiss Travel Pass is a product mostly used by (foreign) tourists. However, you can pick “GA” as reduction option there. This “GeneralAbonnement” is intended for the Swiss, but grants pretty much the same discounts as the Swiss travel Pass.
