    Hi!

I hope you will be able to help me on this one.

We (Me, my wife and my 1.5 year old kid) are landing in Zurich on the 20th of July (late afternoon) and then travelling back in the morning of the 24th of July. These two days, I believe point to point tickets should suffice. Our accommodation will be in Lindenstrasse. For the other 3 days, I think that the Swiss travel pass for 3 days should help considering we are planning to cover Titlis, Pilatus, Interlaken. I am not able to find the cost and whether I can have a point-to-point ticket constituting of train and bus travel to Lindenstrasse from the Zurich airport and the return journey.

Can all these passes and tickets be bought online or can it also be bought in the airport or the Zurich station?

    Thanks,

    Pavan

Hi Pavan, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

There are several streets in Zürich called Lindenstrasse, so I can’t tell which zone you would be in.

For ticket options in Zürich in general, please see my post of a few days ago on the following page:

    Hi Pavan,

You can buy a ticket at Zurich airport to Zurich city that will cover your entire journey. Assuming your hotel on Lindenstrasse is in the downtown centre.

You can also buy tickets online here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/traintickets.

Alpenrose gave you the link for buying the Swiss Travel Pass online. It would be more convenient to buy the Swiss Travel Pass online. It can be emailed to you and printed at home (saving you time at the airport and giving you a copy to print out again in case you lose your pass).

    Thank you Alpenrose and Lucas!

My bad. I did not know about several Lindenstrasse in Switzerland! The address that I will be put up is at:

    Lindenstrasse, Littau, Luzern, 6015, Switzerland

This is actually in Luzern. I think within Luzern I may need to take a bus from the train station to this address. My query was therefore to understand if bus tickets need to be taken separately or the train ticket from Zurich to Luzern should suffice.

    Thanks, Pavan

The closest bus stop to your hotel is Reussbühl, Fluhmühle.

You can enter that in the timetable for prices and schedules from Zurich airport: https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable

That gets you a “City Ticket” valid to take any transport in the city of Luzern after arrival to the train station.
