If your children did not have their 16th birthday yet, you can get them the Swiss Family Card, so they travel for free everywhere. (Note: Seat reservations are not included, in case if you need it somewhere.)
If you do not have the Swiss Family Card for them you need to pay the children’s rate, which is usually half-price. Children under 6 years old travel for free, they do not need any passes.
This applies also to Schilthorn (http://www.myswissalps.com/schilthorn/gettingthere).

Hello,
Just to be super clear, the Swiss Family Card is free if the child or children is/are traveling with an adult or adults who has/have a Swiss Travel System Pass (Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex, or Swiss Half Fare Card).
As you probably already know, the view from the Harderkulm is fan-tas-tic !
