I am planning to travel from Venice to Switzerland with family (3 Adult and one Child 13 years of age). Stay 3-4 days in Switzerland. Sight seeing in Switzerland specially using Golden Pass Train and than travel to Paris.

Please advise should I buy Eurail pass for the whole journey 4/5 days or should I buy Swiss pass ?

If I will buy Swiss Pass how would I travel from Venice to Switzerland (Lucerne) ? and than from Switzerland to Paris ?

What is the easiest and cheapest mode of travel from Switzerland (Geneve) to Paris ?

To know which rail pass is the best for your specific itinerary you need to plan out all trips you will make (train, bus, boat, cable car) and compare the prices for regular tickets to the rail pass price (and which routes/mountains are free or discounted).
