We are a honeymoon couple arriving in Zurich on 22nd. We are trying to plan a 4 day tour of Swiss. Will be leaving to Mumbai on 26th from Zurich. This is our first trip to Swiss and on our bucket list is mount titlis. Rhine falls Chocolate Factory and some good nightlife. So plz help us to plan our trip.

Hi Neha10 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Are you planning on staying in Zurich for all 4 nights and taking day trips?

    • The RheinFall is an easy day trip from Zurich (one hour each way by train)
    • For night life Zurich is your best option and then perhaps Luzern (are you talking about clubs and bars?)
    • Mt. Titlis can be reached from Zurich as a day trip – but Luzern would be a better town to stay in if possible.
    • There are 2 good options for chocolate-focused trips that I recommend/know of:
    • For help planning your days and train trips to each town/mountain use the Swiss railways timetable here
    • For train travel it may be best to look at a 4 day Swiss Travel Pass (you can email to yourself to print off at home) this way you are ready to go as soon as you land in Zurich (no ticket purchases needed).

    Hi Lucas,

Thank a ton for helping us with itinerary. So as per ur suggestion we should stay at Luzerne. And a day trip to the places with the help of the pass is very feasible. ?

    Hi Neha10,

Yes it is feasible – some days are longer than others. Use the timetable I linked on my above post to see the traveling times by train to and from each destination.

The Swiss Travel Pass will cover virtually everything – click here to see a map of where it is valid and click here to buy online to print at home for the most convenience.
