Hi

My wife & I are travelling to Switzerland in September. This what our itinerary looks like

7th Sept 2018 – Geneva – Arrive in Geneva in morning. Check into Hotel. Spend the day & night in Geneva

8th & 9th Sept 2018 – Zermatt

10th, 11th & 12th Sept 2018 – Interlaken

13th & 14th – Lucerne

15h – Arrive on 14th night to Zurich. Spend the day in Zurich on 15th and depart in the night flight

We are interested in doing some moderate hikes during these 10 days. Could you recommend some good ones which we shouldn’t miss?

Also for 2 days in Zermatt, 3 days in Interlaken & 2 in lucerne, what all do you think we can cover along with any good hikes?

Hi Arun

you might consider these hikes near Interlaken. The panaramaweg at Schynige Platte (2.5 hrs). Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg (1:45 hrs) and if you want a little longer continue from KS up to Gornergletcher or down to Wengeralp. Also First to Bachalpsee is scenic and you can return to First or continue down from Bachalpsee to Waldspitz and Bort ( about a half day hike).

In Zermatt we enjoyed the hike from Riffelalp to Riffelsee. Also the hike from Zermatt to Zmutt and return by gondola had nice views of the Matterhorn. Mark
