Hiking from Alpnachstad-Aemsigen to Pilatus

    Just read Myswitzerland website the hike trail from Alpnachstad to Amsigen is closed due to storm damage; link http://www.pilatus.ch/en/disc over/hiking-on-the-pilatus/ Just wondering is there any info/indications when might that section of the hike trail be reopened? From the Redirections map, I presume it would be still be okay to take the train from Alpnachstad up to Amsigen and hike from there, am I right? Thanks in advance

    hi Dee Why,

    Yes according to that map you should be fine. I would check in at Alpnachstad when you are there to confirm if part of the trail is still closed.
