Hiking from Rotenboden to Riffelsee in May

    I know this is dependent on the weather on the day, but is it possible at all to hike from Rotenboden to Riffelsee in mid-May or is it still snow-covered? Thanks.

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

    Most likely the trail from Rotenboden to Riffelalp would be still be covered in snow in May. It might be open for winter hiking but be sure to check the trail conditions before embarking on your trip.
