Hi Steve,
We have a list of hiking near Murren here, and a list of hiking options in the Jungfrau region in general here.
They will note how to get there, difficulty and length of hikes.

Hello sfBlenheim,
Although the lists of hikes and excursions on this site are very good please be aware that many of the hikes will still be closed during the time that you are there. May is still off season for the area and the higher elevation walks and hikes will not yet be available.
Suggest that you stop into the Mürren Tourist Information Office when you arrive and be advised as to which walks are available. It is not possible to predict it now as it is entirely weather dependent. There will always be lower elevation walks that are available. Bottom line, no need to do lots of planning now as no one can predict what will be available when you are there

Good point Kim! I was optimistic about weather for late May 😉
It snowed here in Zurich last week and today it is 22 degrees….you never know in this country!

Wow! Snow in Zurich? In May? That’s pretty crazy!
Jungfrau Region webcams currently show no snow on ground in Wengen and Mürren (and, of course, not Lauterbrunnen) but still lots of snow up at Kleine Scheidegg and everything up from there. There seem to be many travelers planning to visit the region end of this month so let’s hope that the weather warms up quickly!
