Hello

we are trying to plan a short honeymoon in Switzerland for 3 nights Jan 1st to 3rd

we are looking for a nice hotel/resort with scenic views and amenities such as spa, and close to restaurants. Do you have a recommendation of what town/city would be best to visit?

How lovely you’re spending some of your honeymoon in Switzerland.

There are quite some nice places I could think of, e.g. Zermatt or St. Moritz, offering luxury hotels and fantastic views, but also Lucerne, as a larger city with fantastic hotels and lots of scenery and activities.

Check out Riffelalp Resort in Zermatt. Great views of the Matterhorn (see my thumbnail photo taken from room balcony), great spa, and has a formal restaurant as well as a casual one. It looks down on Zermatt which is easily accessible on the Gornergratbahn.
