We are travelling from Lucerne to Gruyeres and it appears that trains don’t go directly to Gruyeres. Can you advise as to the train station we would go to and then the best way to get to Gruyeres?

The SBB Timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) will give you the fastest route by default. Or you can add via Meiringen, Zweisimmen and Montbovon to your search to follow the Golden Pass Line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass). Tip: The most scenic part of the Golden Pass Line is the descent down to Montreux from Montbovon so if you want to see that substitute via Montbovon for via Montreux.

    Hi Maria,

You want Gruyeres train station. The fastest option is about 3 hours (check the timetable from Rockoyster).Looks like they go at hh:00 & hh:05 hourly.
