Sorry for the stupid question, but I don’t know if buses are different in Switzerland and I don’t want to look like an idiot when I get on a bus. Where I live, you pull a cord or press a button that signals the driver that you want to get off at the next stop. Is it the same in Switzerland?

    Thanks.

Yes, you press a button to signal you want to get off at the next stop.

There is usually an overhead display showing the names of the next few upcoming stops.
