How long does it take for SBB to fulfill a refund

    Hi, I have cancelled my swiss travel pass over the phone, and the lady said that your tickets have been cancelled and your amount paid will be refunded to your card. However I got no email confirmation regarding the same, it was all over phone. Anyone knows how long does it take for these refunds to be credited back into your account and is an email confirmation absoultely necessary.

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

    I’m sorry you had to cancel your Swiss Travel Pass. If you purchased through SBB, it usually takes a few days before the refund shows up in your account. Be sure to check for the email in your spam box. And I suggest calling them up again in a few days if the refund still hasn’t gone through.

    If you plan to get a new railpass, I recommend purchasing from the Switzerland Travel Centre, which is SBB’s official webshop. This is geared more towards tourists.
