Hi all awesome people on this forum

My trip date is nearing and I wanted to get some help in working out an approx fig of chf we will need for our 15 day trip to Swiss land.

We have already paid for accommodation in Zurich, Interlaken and Montreux, bought 15 days STP for 2 and also reserved seats on the Golden express and Glacier express.

We don’t anticipate eating out in restaurants etc for dinner – prefer to make and have a simple veggo meal in our apartment. Salad + fruit from local coop will do for lunch. Likewise we will be having a simple brekkie in our apt before setting out.

For sightseeing – how much approximately should we be looking at for 2 people per day Pls? This would include a trip to Jungfrauch (weather permitting), Mt Titlis or Gigi etc

    Hi Meeraoz,

I would expect meals a from local supermarkets to be around 10chf each. Tickets of course to different mountains will differ quite a bit.

You can use the timetable to plan the trips and find prices. The first price you will get is for Swiss Half Fare Card holders. You’ll need to double that price and then subtract the appropriate discount given by the Swiss Travel Pass for that trip: https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ validity

You can also pay for those trips and most larger stores by credit card or bank card so you might only need 30-40 chf per day, per person, for smaller items or instances where a store won’t take a credit or bank card.
